The 2008 Quintana Roo Supersuit delivers the most functional suit in the wetsuit marketplace today, with emphasis on buoyancy, flexibility and of course speed.
Featuring the patent pending 'virtual pull buoy' technology (VPB) for correct body alignment and buoyancy. The VPD aids the body centerline rotation while keeping the hips and thighs high in the water. You'll know how good it feels when you get the swimming downhill feeling. The exclusive 'foot release system' allows high-speed release of the first metatarsalhead, 'big toe joint' which represents the widest part of the foot. V.P.D "Virtual Pull Buoy" The latest technology development from QR gives the swimmer the feeling of swimming downhill. Improving buoyancy and stability the V.P.D. further improves body rotation and alignment in the water. Just like a pull buoy training aid keeps your legs and hips high. The V.P.D. replicates this in a patented design combining varied material thickness within the thigh area. With buoyancy located around the centre rotation line of the body the V.P.D. aids a more centralized roll and reduces off centerline movement of the lower portion of the body. There is no greater feeling than swimming in the new V.P.D. suits from Quintana Roo. Like swimming with a Pull Buoy, only better.
BREAKAWAY ZIPPER - The breakaway zipper is the ultimate development in speeding up the transition from swim to bike. Exclusive to QROO, the zipper has been designed to give you a release from the suit with one single pull of the zipper cord. The zipper teeth are uniquely designed to allow separation of the zipper to travel the full length of the sip in milli seconds. There is not a faster wetsuit release system available.....FACT!
SIZING - At Quintana Roo, they pride themselves in creating the perfect suit for all individuals. Quintana Roo's trademarked fit and feel is due in part to their large range of sizes for both men and women. In choosing a wetsuit, please refer to the sizing chart on this page. If your body type falls into two different size parameters, choose the smallest size that is comfortable. And remember: an uncomfortably snug fit will restrict movement and slow your swim. Please take all sizing components into account when purchasing a QR suit. For example, if you are near the end of the weight range of a given suit, but shorter, you will probably need the LARGER suit for a comfortable fit through the torso.
